It's Show Time--November 6 & 7, 2010!. Our dealers will again fill the gymnasium of the School of Opportunity with thousands of beautiful pieces of Tiffin Glass, all for sale. In addition to the beautiful glassware for sale, the Club booth will also be selling reference books on Tiffin Glass, glass ornaments and commemorative logo shields, with all sales benefitting the Club.
TIFFIN GLASS COLLECTORS CLUB
The Tiffin Glass Collectors Club will host their 16th Annual Fall Glass Show and Sale on November 6 & 7 at the Seneca County School of Opportunity, 780 East Co. Rd. 20, south of Tiffin, off State Route 100. In addition to the Tiffin Glass, dealers will be offering other fine glassware and collectibles for sale.
The show and sale hours are on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The additional $3 admission fee is good for both days and children are admitted free. The facility is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible with plenty of free parking. Lunch is available and door prizes will be awarded. If you have not attended our show in the past, you should be aware that the ladies of our club prepare wonderful home cooked soups, sandwiches and pies that are irrestible! And prices are very reasonable.
The Club sales booth will be offering the annual limited edition Christmas ornament, books and other fund raisers to benefit the Glass Museum.
Plan to attend our Saturday evening banquet at the Pioneer Mill Restaurant, 255 Riverside Drive, Tiffin. cost of the buffet dinner is$25 per person and paid reservations are required by October 20th. Following the dinner, an auction of donated glass items will be conducted with all proceeds going to our general fund for Museum expenses. Come and enjoy an evening with fellow glass collectors.
We encourage you to stop in at the Glass Museum at 25 S. Washington Street in downtown Tiffin, where over a thousand pieces of glassware and many memorabilia items from the old factory are displayed. The adjacent retail shop offers a large selection of Tiffin Glass and other fine glassware and gift items for sale. We have fourteen dealers who stock their cabinets with beautiful merchandise at great prices. Don't miss the opportunity to do your Christmas shopping early. The Museum and Gift Shoppe will be open Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
